Ann Demeulemeester Menswear SS10

Ann Demeulemeester claims to have "felt enlightened" for her Spring 2010 menswear collection. That would explain her movement from the warrior inspiration of her Fall collection. This season is about "less is more." I couldn't agree more. Fashion shouldn't be over thought. That it when it becomes forced and it shows. It was Coco Chanel that said, "before leaving your home, look in the mirror and take one thing off." Men should apply this rule as well. We can sometimes overdo it.

In this collection Ann proposed a simple suite, worn shirtless. Now, I highly doubt any of us would do such a thing in public unless your some rock star. The idea of it is inspiration and showing us that simple can be extravagant.

Demeulemeester also stated that she was looking for "sensuality, but in a masculine way." Way to go Ann! Women are not the only sexual beings when it comes to fashion. This collection consisted mostly of waistcoats, sheer cardigans, long silken coats, cropped pants, leather apparel and tastefully selected accessories. This collection reminds me of the 1980's rock star that everyone wanted to emulate. This collection is a masterpiece.

Below I've listed some of the key looks I found to be GLAM HOMME worthy.
